What this place did for my mother cannot be overstated. I truly believe that my mother was able to live longer under their care. I feel it’s important for families to know that Wellington Manor recently had admissions stopped after the state came in regarding concerns with the kitchen and nursing. If you are looking for placement for your loved one, I strongly recommend considering other facilities until these issues are resolved. Families deserve to be aware of the situation so they can make the best choice for their loved ones’ care and safety.
Wellington Manor became home to our mom 2 years ago. Reluctantly, she moved there, but she began to feel like she was home. The staff takes care of her needs very well. She loves for them to come give her hugs and cuddles and some she knows personally! Having local people working there has helped mom adjust to her new living arrangement! Thank you for helping make it much easier!
Our mother chose Wellington Manor as the place she wanted to live for an active assisted living experience. She loves the staff, her studio apartment which she decorated with her favorite things, and the care/attention that she receives. She is never lonely and she felt safe and cared for during the pandemic. They went over and beyond to keep the residents safe yet connected for their mental health. My sisters and I have such a peace of mind because we know how happy and active she is and how close they monitor her health. It has been a great experience!
This is wonderful assisted living facility for my Mom. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The facility is clean and the food is good. And the staff has gone above and beyond to make it a great Christmas season for the residents.
