Vista Prairie at Monarch Meadows

Vista Prairie at North Pointe is such a great place for my mother. I am always thrilled with how the workers smile and work together. Everyone seems to really love the people who live here. I see the administrators with such positive attitudes, and that filters down through everyone, including the residents. The aides, nurses, housekeepers, cooks , activity people and everyone are so good !! Also, I have noticed that everyone covers for everyone. ..such as director of nursing fills in when a cook is needed! A fun place!

I got my dad set up here last year and I feel like he's truly cared for and appreciated by the staff and residents to a level that we couldn't keep up with! Things have been really hard with him and just knowing that he's taken care of and safe. He can be so incredibly cruel to us and I'm sure the staff too, but the way they still treat him with respect and dignity is so incredibly admirable. Also he cannot get enough of the cafeteria food, he's always praising the deserts hahaha

I can't say enough wonderful things about this assisted living community! The staff here go above and beyond every single day. From the caregivers to the management team, everyone treats the residents with genuine compassion, respect, and kindness. It's clear they truly care and take the time to get to know each resident personally. Communication with families is excellent, and the atmosphere feels more like a supportive family than just a care facility. Knowing my loved one is in such capable and loving hands gives me incredible peace of mind. I’m so grateful for everything the staff does—this place is a true gem!

My mother has been a resident at Monarch Meadows since September 2022. The marketing manager was very helpful in finding the right apartment for her. The maintenance department is awesome and is always there if she needs something repaired or has a question. The staff is always friendly and makes my mom feel welcomed. She has now been there for nine months and there have been many changes. My mom’s health is declining and she is now needing more services. Monarch Meadows has offered these services to allow her to continue to live there. There have also been many changes at Monarch Meadows as well. The buildings have always been beautifully decorated, but they have now updated the furniture in the common areas along with some new art pieces and paint. There have also been changes in management and staff. These changes have been for the good. It has strengthened communication within the buildings and within the different departments. The staff is well informed as are the residents and their families. The monthly activities calendar is full of activities for the resident to participate in and the residents are always smiling. I look at that as a sign that the residents are happy. They feel safe and can be as independent as they want and yet get assistance if they need it. All in all, I’m happy that we chose Monarch Meadows for mom. Her mother also lived there in the late 1990’s, so it was our first choice when it came time for her to move out of her home. Everyone knows my mom and greets her when she venture out of her apartment. I feel the staff genuinely cares and worries about mom when she is not feeling well.

I have been in and out of Monarch Meadows over the last 10 years through volunteer work and knowing employees who have worked there. I have seen thoughtful improvements to the facility and noticed smiles on the faces of the residents. Keep up the great work our elders deserve the best!
