It has been a difficult journey with my mom the past three years. Memory loss is a difficult disease for most of us to understand because we can't see it always in the person who has it. It doesn't always manifest itself like other sicknesses do. I was fortunate to find Peace Village, a place that helped my mom retain her dignity and grace. They took such excellent care of her--diet, hygiene, activities. She was always safe there. The staff also looked out for me, offering a caregiver support group and check-ins on my mom's status. One of the best things about the choice I made in selecting Peace Village is that when I went to bed at night, I could sleep knowing that my mom was well taken care of. Her room was bright and cheery and she benefited from not only taking her meals with all the other residents, but she also benefited because the Memory care unit is small and is staffed with professional people who care about not only the residents, but also their families. I cannot say enough about Peace Village. My mom first started by moving out of her home into the assisted living building, The Circle Inn. From there she transitioned to the Courtyard, which is the memory care unit. She was in the Courtyard for two and a half years and is gone now, but the love and care both of us received from the staff of Peace stay in my heart. I highly recommend Peace Village.

The staff and services at Peace Village are outstanding and impeccable. As soon as you walk through the front door, you are greeted in a friendly and professional manner. I highly recommend this retirement community for anyone in need of independent and assisted living as well as memory care.

“I should have moved here years ago…they think of everything.” The staff, activities and facilities are delightful. Mom loves the classes, and she always looks forward to dancing and singing along with “Jan on the Piano” each week. Most of all, mom enjoys our visits and strolls around the village to see her friends and the beautiful grounds. Mom proudly shows off her beautiful condo with its fantastic views of the lake. We all enjoy the delicious meals served by the friendly staff in the formal dining room, especially around the holidays. The staff at Peace is wonderful and welcoming and always helpful…We highly recommend Peace Village!

My mother Marge lived at Peace Village for just under 7 years. It was hard for her to move from her home but once she settled in, she made many friends. Bingo and the library were favorites of hers. The staff is great. They know all the residents by name. They got to know us too as we visited and had lunch in dining room with mom. After looking at other places, Peace Village impressed by how well the staff know the residents, how clean it is, the variety of activities available. and how much they truly care about the residents. As a family we had peace of mind knowing she was in a good place and we could just visit with her and not have to take of her house. She loved having the grand kids and great grand kids come for lunch so she could show them off. Thank you for all you did for her

When I was exploring assisted living facilities for my Mom, I visited close to twenty places and so much was offered at each. When it came down to choosing a new home for Mom, the decision was easy as The Circle Inn at Peace Village seemed like a great fit for her. I was impressed with The Circle Inn and all that was offered for Mom: the activities, the medical care, the large living and recreational spaces, the cleanliness of The Circle Inn and much more. Mom even had a chance to “try out” The Circle Inn when she had a respite stay. Mom enjoyed that stay and when she was ready to move to assisted living, she wanted to move to The Circle Inn. Mom really enjoyed the time she spent at The Circle Inn. Mom loved the crafts, games (especially bingo) and all the different activities. Mom also loved the great food offered in the dining room and the friends she made. Mom also loved the staff at The Circle Inn as well. When I visited Mom she never stopped talking about the wonderful time she was having, and from my visits, I could feel the love and care everyone at The Circle Inn provided for not only my Mom, but also all of the residents. I am very thankful for all of the staff at The Circle Inn. My family hoped that mom would have been able to live at The Circle Inn for much longer than she did, but the time she spent there was terrific for her. Everyone at Peace Village and The Circle Inn has our deep appreciation for all they did for Mom, whether serving in the dining room, creating activities, doing medical checks, or a friendly greeting at the front desk.
