Golden Moments Care Home offers a warm caring environment for loved ones with memory care needs. My dad is one of 6 residents in this cozy group home. It is obvious the staff is caring and knowledgeable of my dad's needs. He has been there almost a year and is always clean, neatly groomed with his hair cut, nails clipped, and clean shaven. It is a pleasure to watch the interaction of staff with my dad and the other residents. There is a true caring and loving connection with the residents. Each day follows a similar schedule with exercise circle, arts and crafts, music, and a little TV time. My dad is visibly happy there and enjoys dancing with the care givers. Makayla White, the home administrator, has done a wonderful job helping transition my dad into his new environment. She keeps in regular contact with my mom with updates and suggestions to make sure my dad is as happy and well-adjusted as he can be. Makayla has gone above and beyond to help our family adjust to this change in our lives. We feel very fortunate to have found Golden Moments at a time when we needed them most.

We have nothing but praise for Golden Moments Care Home where our Pop was a resident for a little over a year. He was always well cared for, well fed, loved and adored by the staff. He had a multitude of ailments, including dementia, through it all, he remained positive, friendly and kind. He found comfort and contentment at Golden Moments. We were frequent visitors and got to know the wonderful, fun, spunky staff. The caregivers worked so hard each day to provide great care and they created an environment where the residents were encouraged and treated with respect. Each caregiver at GMCH showed a dedication and love for the residents. We know our dad loved their spirit as much as they loved his. We were also grateful for the great communication, it was always easy to get in touch with Makayla or with the caregivers or with our Pop. The love and care that was provided to him at Golden Moments put us at ease through this heartbreaking and challenging time in his life. We would highly recommend Golden Moments for your loved ones in need. Thank you for everything, Golden Moments!

Golden Moments Residential Care Home rates above and beyond 5 stars. My stepdad was a resident of this facility for over 10 years until his passing at 95 years old. Denise Walker (owner), Mackayla (administrator), and all of the Golden Moments staff instantly became a part of our family. The love, patience and caring attitudes shown by all the staff was beyond anything I would have expected in a care home. They welcomed my stepdad with open arms and made him feel like he was home. They did the same for our family when we came to visit him as well. I would not hesitate to choose Golden Moments Residential Care Home for any of my loved ones. Golden Moments is not only a safe and secure facility but also a very clean environment with a homey feel. The personal hygiene of the residents is of the utmost importance to all the staff and in the 10 years my stepdad was living at Golden Moments he was just as handsome and CLEAN as the day he started. The staff remains engaged with the residents throughout the day participating in exercise circles and sing alongs. They play games like Bingo, put together puzzles, and also make art projects to go along with every season and holiday. Holidays at Golden Moments Residential Care Home are marked with special activities and luncheons which are open to all family members to enjoy. I am more than thankful for the time my stepdad spent in the care of Golden Moments Residential Care Home. Update-recent owner change. Not the same Old review-Golden Moments Care Home (GMCH) has been amazing for my grandmother for the past year and a half. All the employees are extremely caring and patient with the residents, and the director and owner are amazing human beings. The daily schedule always includes meal times, exercise time, games or craft time, afternoon down time, and so much more. My grandmother just told me today she is very happy there and everyone is very nice to her. The employees take such great care of my grandma's medical needs but also go above and beyond by painting her finger nails and doing her hair just to make her feel good. Our family takes great comfort knowing our loved one is so well cared for. Through the COVID-19 pandemic GMCH has stuck to strict protocols and has kept everyone, employees and residents, safe and healthy. Fingers crossed they keep that record going!

My husband has been a resident in memory care for two years. The staff provides a home environment. I am impressed by their ability to individualize the care including meals. They create appealing plates featuring the particular tastes as well as dietary needs of the residents. The house is spotless and the staff provides a regular schedule of activities including access to the outdoors when weather permits. I definitely struck gold.
