Friendship Center of Santa Barbara

I had volunteered there with my dogs for years never imagining that I would be my Dad’s caregiver. The Friendship Center provides respite for caregivers, but most importantly provides members a joyous haven with many different activities. Yes, it can be difficult to entrust your loved one to others. But as Kathryn says, “trust the process”. I cherish my memories of dancing with my dad.

Friendly people and good to know about this place for the elderly.

Beautiful facility. Friendly careing and professional staff. Strong leadership.well organized. Providing much needed respite for families care for a loved one with cognitive issues. Engaging programming. Benefits for veterans and low income families. A true blessing to have this service available to our community.

This is an incredible Adult Day Care Center specializing in the care of senior citizens with dementia or a TBI. Their compassionate, professional and dedicated staff work wonders with their members and provide much needed respite care for the family caregiver. They have changed their programs to virtual activities and support groups during this Pandemic.

Adult day care for people with cognative impairment. Nice people, appropriate activities. I think price is sliding scale.
