Hannah did such a great job with me and my family. Touring about 6 places in total, Hannah was completely different in her approach to my mother’s care. All other tours started with the rep going over care needs and immediately going into price. It seemed like a tactic to gage my facial expression. Hannah, though, was more of a consultant in her approach and was very upfront with expectations on how my mother was a fit and also not a fit. I felt very comfortable with her. Next, the facility itself is amazing compared to all the others we saw. It looks like a five star hotel! We just moved in so don’t have experience yet but I get the feeling from meeting all the staff that they truly care and want to do right. This makes me feel good leaving her there. Other places did not give me the same feeling. All in all, the Bristol is the most luxurious and one of the least expensive. It is rare in this day and age to have more value compared to what the price is. I don’t get how they do it, but take advantage while they have these offerings. Crazy! Thx again Hannah!

Making the decision to move our mom into an Assisted Living facility was one of the hardest choices our family has ever faced. We wanted to find a place that felt like home, where she would be cared for with kindness, respect, and compassion. After visiting several facilities, we knew immediately that The Bristal (Reflections) was the perfect choice.
From day one, the staff has been nothing short of exceptional. They welcomed our family with open arms, took the time to understand our mom’s needs, and made the transition as smooth as possible. Their warmth and dedication are evident in everything they do, from daily care to the engaging activities they provide. It’s comforting to know that she is not just safe but active, and surrounded by people who truly care.
One of the things that stands out the most within “Reflections” is the sense of community. The residents are always engaged in social events, games, and creative activities, which keeps my mom mentally stimulated and physically active. The facility itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and designed to feel welcoming rather than clinical.
I can’t express how grateful we are to have found The Bristal @ Somerset. The peace of mind knowing that our mom is in such capable and loving hands is priceless. If you are searching for a long-term care facility for a loved one, I highly recommend The Bristal @ Somerset, NJ. it has been a blessing for our family.

As an SRES® (Senior Real Estate Specialist), I visit many senior communities, and The Bristal always stands out. The care feels personal, the staff is warm and professional, and the environment is vibrant and welcoming. It’s clear they prioritize both dignity and quality of life for their residents.

Placing my mom in a memory care facility after my father passed away was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. The Bristal at Somerset has gone above and beyond in reassuring me that her personal and social needs are being met on a daily basis. The staff is very professional, caring and friendly. The facility is beautiful and their resident calendar is full of events that are fun and stimulating. I know mom is cared for and safe.......

The Bristal at Somerset was my mom's (Kathleen) home for more than a year and a half. Her husband, John found he was beginning to need assistance and made arrangements to move into another assisted living facility closer to where they lived previously in Clinton. My sisters and I were thoroughly disappointed with their decision to leave The Bristal which far outshines the new facility. But John pays the bill and has the final say!
At the Bristal my mom had a wonderful and caring group of caregivers (particularly Becky and Elizabeth) who attended to my mom's needs with kindness and thoughtfulness. The administrative staff was terrific and always ready to help with anything we needed. My mom loved the activities offered everyday, especially the Word Game, Bingo, the visits by the miniature horse and service dogs, and the many presentations and music programs provided by outside groups. She loved the fascinating presentations given by Walter C. and Jeff Kampf. There is always something to do at The Bristal at Somerset. Shopping trips, birthday celebrations, afternoon socials where there was always a goodie to enjoy and friends to share the time with, holiday specials, and more! I would walk her through the halls in her wheelchair and everyone knew her and would tell me how special she was and how she always had a smile! She also knew all the residents and staff as well. I was never good at remembering names, but my mom, a former banker, always remembered a person's name. She often told us that was the banker in her! When I see her now, she tells me she misses her friends at The Bristal at Somerset as well as her time there.
As a family member, I made use of their website often. Right on the front page was a link to their event calendar. The link takes you to the monthly newsletter which includes notes from the staff, pictures with the residents, articles, and the activities for each day of the month. If you are thinking of moving into The Bristal at Somerset, do not hesitate. This is an excellent facility with lots to offer both the independent senior and those needing some assistance. My mom loved her time here and misses it greatly. I included a photo of my mom, Kathleen, in the gazebo at The Bristal at Somerset with my sister's dog, Chloe.
