Avita of Wells

We moved my mom into Avita of Wells one week ago. It was a very difficult decision but she was no longer safe in her home. We looked at several places before deciding upon Avita. What we liked about Avita is the fact that it is a dedicated dementia care facility. All of the staff have training in dementia. There are 3 different communities, each with 20 residents. The environment is not overwhelming for her and is very easy to navigate. After just the first day, she was able to find her way back to her room on her own. The staff is AMAZING! Every single staff member is warm, welcoming and compassionate and not just to our mom, but to all of us. The past few weeks have been very difficult for our family but we are happy with our decision and are thankful to the staff at Avita of Wells for helping us every step of the way.

Avita in Wells is such a really great place the moment you walk in and are met by the wonderful front desk staff and coordinators. Having a family member with cognitive issues is challenging by yourself but the wonderful team at Avita truly eased the burden of care for our family. It is a wonderful place for those that require more robust care than other facilities are willing to give.

I have the great honor of working with the team at Avita of Wells through my hospice agency. The residents are consistently out of their rooms and actively engaged with staff. In my experience, the team always goes above and beyond to ensure their residents can age in place. Plus theirs always wonderful baked goods in the lobby filling the halls with therapeutic aromas. I would highly suggest Avita of Wells if you are in need of Memory care for your loved ones.

My mom was a resident of Avita of Wells for over six years and was treated by all staff in the kindest, caring and loving ways. The nursing staff is responsive and efficient. The daily social activities that occur throughout the day are fun, interesting and varied. The facility is modern and extremely well kept with private rooms which are large, sunny, pleasant and cozy. The food is always fresh and delicious. Mom enjoyed herself at Avita and always felt loved. Moving to Avita of Wells was an excellent decision.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Avita and their amazing staff. Everyone there is consistently warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to providing exceptional care. Wendy, in particular, is incredibly compassionate and clearly passionate about supporting residents and their families. It’s such a comfort knowing the residents are in such capable and caring hands!
