If you need a team of care partners that will help you when the time has come to find a memory care facility do not hesitate to visit Highgate and tour the place to consider as your number one choice. Mom and us received such top notch care from Jean, Amanda, Anna, Carla, Bridgette, Marla and many others. They caught important signs of changes in our loved one and took action so Mom could be helped in a timely manner. After I moved Mom to Highgate from Cashmere Post-Acute she lived the last 2 months of her life being really cared for which meant the world to us. They treated us like family. We felt so confident having Mom at Highgate we were able to take our first two long weekend vacations after five years of caregiving 2020 - 2025. At other places in Wenatchee I had to go every weekend to monitor care (not a good situation with staffing) and still many services were not being provided per the plans set forth in contracts signed. It was easier to move Mom after they slippped up seriously than report those issues and fight them systems that are clearly broken focus on profits over people model.
Our mother/mother-in-law has been at Highgate for six years. She chose to come to Highgate because of her experience when her late husband was a Highgate resident. She knew she would get excellent care, and she has!! She loves it at Highgate and regularly says she is in the best place!! ALL the staff, from Jean to Nelson and everyone in between are loving and supportive, often going out of their way to help. She receives exceptional care from Dianna and Neda who care for her with such love and consistency. When we visit, we so appreciate the warm family atmosphere of Highgate, and we agree that she is in the Best Place!!
Highgate has been a phenomenal community. Providing high quality care and fostering a family like atmosphere for all of the residents.
It was an honor to be apart of the VDT experience! I believe it is a great simulation of the symptoms people struggle with who have dementia. Gives you a much better understanding on how to better assist those with dementia. 10/10 experience, if you are ever interested give them a call to sigh up, they do them once a month!
Highgate hosted a Virtual Dementia training at my workplace. Their staff was very knowledgeable and staff walked away with new insights. Thank you Highgate for this valuable training.
