The District Dialysis

The District Dialysis is a Medicare-certified dialysis facility located in Henderson, Nevada. A Medicare-certified ESRD facility provides dialysis treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease (kidney failure). Facilities may offer hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or both treatment modalities.

Dialysis is a life-sustaining treatment that removes waste and excess fluid from the blood when the kidneys can no longer perform this function. Hemodialysis typically occurs three times per week at a dialysis center, while peritoneal dialysis can be performed at home.

Medicare provides coverage for dialysis treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), including people under age 65. Coverage includes dialysis treatment, equipment, supplies, and certain medications. Most patients have a monthly premium and may have cost-sharing requirements.
