Preferred Care has been such a blessing to our family. They worked first with my mom to provide care with varying schedules for my dad when dementia and a stroke started to take a toll through the rest of his days, allowing them to stay in their independent cottage. For several years, we found the care givers to be kind and ready to help. We have since called the excellent, responsive staff at Preferred Care to help out with Mom when she has experienced some issues where she needed some short term support. We didn’t know when Mom would be discharged and what type of care she would need but Lisa stayed in touch and worked with us to meet her needs so that Mom could return home to receive PT and OT instead of having to go to a rehab center. I am confident that this allowed her to recover more quickly. We highly recommend Preferred Care for anyone looking for quality, affordable in home care.
