Terrible problems with scheduling, and days when no one shows up. The at home care givers are wonderful, when they show up, but communication is awful from the office. If someone is scheduled for help from 1-5, someone should show up at 1:00, not 1:30 or 2:30. Whoever is in charge of scheduling really needs some training, because she is less than professional, in my opinion.

I have worked with Home Instead professionally for many years & have had very positive experiences. A few weeks ago, I needed to reach out to get some help for my mom. Lynda was so prompt about getting out to learn more about what our family needed. She spent a great deal of time getting to know my parents & discussing how Home Instead could help. Within days, Lynda had us set up with two fabulous CarePros, Jeanette & Vicky. We consider them part of our family & mom really enjoys her time with them! Jennifer was there for introductions the first & second day which made for a smooth transition! She is also very helpful with any & all questions. The team at the office has been prompt in getting back to us or just answering a question. Mom goes to the office & they have activities there. When I called the office the other day, Lori, who runs the Activities, said, "We just love your mom! We enjoy when she comes to the office." Peace of Mind. Everyone has been so kind & so helpful. We appreciate you all very much.

We turned to Home Instead to provide in-home care for my ailing Dad. They did a great job of developing a care plan that addressed my Dad’s care needs. Their care providers also gave my Dad’s wife the periodic relief that she needed to ensure her ongoing health and well-being. All the care providers were compassionate and attentive. Home Instead enabled my Dad to live at home in comfort until he passed. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone with an elderly family member who are seeking an alternative to a traditional nursing home.

One goal my mother always had was to be able to live in her home during her final stage of life instead of moving to a senior care facility. During this past year, she began to struggle with the maintenance of her home and it looked like the only solution was to sell her home and move her to a shared living environment. Before doing so, we looked at other options and found Home Instead Senior Care. The Branch Manager came to our house to meet with my mother and craft a solution of care that would handle the chores she could no longer do while allowing her the independence and freedom to remain in her home. As things changed, they were able to alter their support and take on more tasks as needed. They were always available for consultation and were very flexible in their support. I am really happy with Home Instead Senior Care. The communication system with the company is really nice. I like the daily notes left by my father's helper. I feel really good about my father being able to retain his independence while getting the extra help that he needs. I will have no problem scheduling more help for him with Home Instead as he needs more care. This service has been a great compromise for my Dad and I. He is taken care of and I am able to have my life back because I don't have to check on him as often or worry about him while I am at work. What a relief!
