Assisting Hands

My mother lived in an independent living complex for five years and the last 3 she needed more hands on help than I could give her, from walking her dog to preparing her snacks and more. Having Assisting Hands offering home care where she lived kept us from having to move her to assisted living. Their prices were so fair and the care they gave her and our whole family was priceless. They went over expectations with checking in with me when needed and their ability to hire dedicated and trained workers was what made them stand out. When Mom passed away a few months ago, Kim and Brianna and several care providers kept helping us however we needed through the process.

The caregivers at Assisting Hands have provided loving care for my mom and helped her with many tasks- they are worth their weight in gold to our family. Not only do they provide excellent care; their communication with families has been great- timely, clear and concise- we are always ‘on the same page.’ I am so pleased that we connected with such a wonderful team of caregivers and the management team as well. I would recommend them to those needing care for their loved ones. A very bright spot in our lives indeed!

The folks at Assisting Hands helped us with my mother in law. They really did such a great job of taking care of her, changing sheets, changing and bathing her. Lisa was so respectful of our loved one. Always asking is she could help, speaking to her gently, moving slowly, always reassuring her that she was safe. My only negative is on us, why didn't we contact you sooner? The hours that you spent doing all the tasks, freed us up to rest, be her family, not her care giver. You took a load off of us. Thank you all for your help.

I am so happy with this agency and a couple of people stand out. Tera, my main caregiver is fantastic!! She meets my needs and anticipates them as well. Also, kudos to Josie for handling both staffing when another caregiver is needed to stepping in to do the care if needed. I recommend this agency for your care needs.
