Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana (ASSL) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 agency established to provide homes for adults with autism in Southwest Louisiana. ASSL now has four homes in Southwest Louisiana for adults with autism. Our clients have fully trained, around-the-clock personal care attendants who work with them, enabling them to live active and independent lives. Their days are filled with a variety of activities from job-like volunteer work to walking and swimming, to maintaining the upkeep of their home, and other activities of daily living. In addition to providing homes, we also serve 12 to 15 persons with autism and other developmental disabilities in their own homes. The hours vary depending on the need.
