Home Instead Maplewood has provided multiple caregivers for my friend Anna. The caregiver who has been with Anna the longest, Marnie, deserves special praise for her cheerfulness, knowledge, and willingness to work with Anna in a positive way, as Anna can occasionally be stubborn. It is a relief knowing that my friend is in such competent and caring hands.

My wife Paula is blind and has been restricted to a wheelchair. For some years we have employed caregivers from Home Instead. Paula and I wish to publicly thank our long term regular crew. Many thanks to Sandra who fights the supermarket wars for us, Lucille who makes the most fabulous meals, and Holly who has been doing all the extras since the start, Maria Teresa, Courtney,and Carter. Every one of them brings different skills and personality to their work, but they are ALL excellent. Even the subs which are required once in a while are extraordinary. Highly recommend!

I am very fortunate in that I have 2 very capable and dedicated Care Professionals. But this review is just about Julie Carlson. She is just a pleasure to have in my employ. She is a self starter and I really appreciate that about her. She doesn't wait for me to give her instructions, she looks around her, assesses the situation and gets to work. She is aware of the tasks which need doing to keep my household running smoothly and she starts them as soon as she arrives each Friday. She is extremely competent and I am always amazed at the speed at which she accomplishes her duties. She is very diligent and enjoys organizing things and I like turning her loose on my projects; I know she will complete each job efficiently and in a timely manner. I am never disappointed in her results. But it is not just her capabilities that make Julie such a joy to have around, I enjoy her personality as well. We have many things in common and that makes her a "good fit" with me. I look forward to Fridays with Julie. She is not only a very productive individual but also someone who takes obvious pride in her work. I don't just regard her as an employee but I also value her as a caring friend.

We have had Lily C. come to our home for about four months. For many people, including myself, it's not easy having someone you don't know well in your home. However, Lily has been a great addition to our routine! She is proactive and immediately tries to find ways to be useful each and every day. She is truly compassionate about caring for my Father especially on days when he's struggling which leaves me with a great sense of comfort! My experience with Home Instead has been a really great one because of Lily!
