My mother was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and my sisters and I were in need of a weekend caregiver for her. We first went through another agency, and they took over 3 weeks to get us someone. We unfortantely had to terminate her. We were at our wits' end! Luckily, I was referred to Gus at Advancare through caring.com. From the first interaction, I knew we had chosen the right home health care agency. Gus explained their entire process, came to my mother's home to meet and assess her needs and immediately, with the help of Loren, hand picked the perfect caregiver for my mother, Bessy. She has been an absolute angel! We originally planned on hiring her for 4 hours a day, but my mother liked her so much, she asked to have her 8 hours a day. We were beyond thrilled! Gus, Loren and Laurie have also been incredible in handling our mother's long term care policy. This process can get complicated, and their mission is to ensure you are not dealing with the aggravation of it all. I cannot recommend this agency enough! My wife and I have both worked in healthcare for many years and I can honestly say that Advancare is one of the best. My mother in laws care has been above and beyond. The management is great and they will always answer any questions you might have via text, email, or by phone. The care takers take great pride in what they do and they have become family to us.
