Yesterday was our first appointment with the company and our caregiver Porsha. Everything went wonderfully; my family was very happy with the progress made at their house. My aunt has seen the first sign of relief in getting their house organized and keeping it clean, which is relieving stress on she and my grandmother both. Thank you for everything and a huge thanks to Porsha for all her help. We are looking forward to the next visit and continuing this progress.

The Visiting Angels are incredible! They are working hard to find me the right person to help me. They found me a person who was very good, but was offered a job somewhere else. I have faith that Visiting Angels will find the right person for me.

An absolutely great caring organization. They worked with my Mom for about 2 months after she got out of the hospital/nursing home. She is doing really well again at 93 years old. THANK YOU Visiting Angels! Highly recommended!

My elderly parents from the east coast were visiting Branson when my father fell ill. They were alone, with no friends/family nearby, and needed assistance. I found Visiting Angels online & made a call after hours. A staffer, Ms. K, answered immediately (amazing since it was after hours), and arranged to give my parents the assistance they needed. Her exceptional act of kindness & professionalism was astounding, and provided my family much relief. We can't express enough appreciation. A 5-star review isn't enough....I'd give them 10 if I could.

Truly, excellent. Impeccable service! Visiting Angels was recommended by a hospice nurse and a neighbor. I had vetted a few agencies as I was concerned about getting the right place. Visiting Angels came through, at a moments notice, with experienced, committed caregivers and a lot of hours to fill. I needed caregiving during the last two weeks of Mother’s stay in a skilled nursing facility, and then for several weeks at my house between placements. Rachel and the team did an incredible job at ensuring I had the same, requested caregivers consistently. VA’s were very gracious in their response to my changing big sections of the schedule numerous times! I had a sense of friendly connection between the management and caregivers. Also, between the caregivers. This place really did do a great job. Oh, the caregivers! Wonderful beyond words! Having advanced dementia, my mom’s behaviors were difficult, but the CG’s were just as much a help to me as to Mother! They were professional, appropriate, and dependable - showing up and on time. Also, truly committed to Mom’s needs and safety. They were very respectful of my being the only human on God’s green earth, who knows mostly, and specifically, all the ins-and-outs of this condition as it applies to my own mother. Each one carefully listened to me and did what I asked. I must also mention their warm acceptance of my little dog. They were all genuinely comfortable with his claiming a spot right on their laps! Now that it’s over, Banjo misses his girlfriends. Sharon and Kathleen were, let’s say, more seasoned in age than my other CGs.They were very experienced with patients having dementia. These incredible ladies did the overnight shifts for me. Sharon would knit all night, making things for other people. Because she has such a giving, generous heart! Any random night, between the hours of 4 and 6 AM, Sharon knew just how to calm and satisfy my Mom…with spoonfuls of Butter Pecan ice cream! Mom’s favorite! Hey, whatever it takes. And Sharon bailed me out of some difficult situations like it was nothing. I will always remember the sound of Mother waking at whatever hour and Sharon’s sweet, endearing voice, saying - Hi, Honey. Doing okay, Honey? Okay then Honey. I’ll try this for you, Honey. I’ll do that for you, Honey - no matter how unpleasant the circumstances. On the other overnights, we had Kathleen who kept a watchful eye on Mother. I really welcomed her quiet, soothing voice with Mom. I also appreciated her gathering info about some of Mom‘s needs. Kathleen too was not afraid of tackling the hard jobs. Her patience remained unwavering even in the most difficult times. I will miss my early-morning conversations with these gals! From the start, we had Kayley on a lot of day shifts. Kayley has a good sense of humor, but no nonsense! She knows how to work when she’s at work. Yet, she was completely fluid in her flexibility with Mom’s condition, knowing immediately how to deal with every behavior or situation that arose. I never had to worry about Kayley handling anything. She jumped right into any situation with confidence and vigor. While she was younger than my overnight ladies, Kayley also knew a thing or two because she’d seen a thing or two. 😉 Still, she didn’t come in overly confident or a know-it-all. She listened carefully to my techniques with Mother, eager to know. She quickly put it all to practice and later alerted me to a few helpful pointers as well. She also jumped in, doing less desirable things without hesitation. Kayley came prepared, already knowing the importance of activities no matter if he/she is able to directly participate. 👍 Laura came toward the end of Mom’s stay, so we didn’t get to have her often. She had experience with difficult dementia behaviors. She’s knowledgeable and punctual with a calm demeanor. Laura also did a really great job! These incredible CG’s didn’t flinch in response to any of the difficult behaviors that can come along with late stage dementia. You’ll like this place.
