I grew up in a generation where family took care of each other. We did not place our family members/friends in rest homes. We took care of each other at home. Nobody wants to leave their home if they don't have to.
Then, about 2000, COVID hit and rest homes stopped taking admissions and still placement is very difficult to obtain. The public was forced to "shelter at home", stay inside, isolate. Many struggled on their own. The in-home personal care option became a growing choice for care. Out of the pandemic came a growing need for this line of work...In-Home Personal Care.
Further, as members of the "baby-boomer" generation, ages, and our bodies give out on us...there is a growing natural need for this type of care with keywords being: in home and personal.
In closing, note the words "warm hearts" as a part of the agency's name. We have all heard the horror stories. "Warm Hearts" is an agency that begins, and ends, with the intention/determination to provide quality care with a personal touch.
