Tranquility Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Delaware, Ohio and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

Our family had the pleasure of working with Adam preparing for my Dad’s final days in a nursing facility after suffering a stroke the week before. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. Adam had less than 24 hours to prepare for my Dad’s arrival. He made sure Dad’s meds would be ready and every comfort available from a better mattress to a wonderful nurse named Kelly. They made sure all needs were expressed to each caregiver so Dad was comfortable his last hours. After accepting that Dad would not be able to live the kind of life he would have wanted, the family’s focus changed to ensuring he was well cared for and comfortable. Adam and Kelly made that happen and also checked up on our family to make sure our needs were being met. I would highly recommend their services.
I've not had to deal with something as difficult as this, but Tranquility was amazing in everyway. From their knowledge to their compassion they are truly something special. They went above and beyond and my family and I cannot ever thank them enough.
