With 40 years of expertise, our compassionate and expert care teams coordinate with you, your doctor and loved ones to navigate your physical, emotional and spiritual needs, supporting your goals for care, in your home or the place you call home. Lower Cape Fear LifeCare also provides support and education to loved ones and caregivers throughout the stages of illness and the grieving process.
Lower Cape Fear LifeCare is the only provider in its service area to operate inpatient hospice care centers that are available exclusively for its patients. These serene, home-like facilities offer large rooms with room for family members, patio doors leading our to a beautiful garden, and a family kitchen with food provided through our Meals of Love so that loved ones has access to meals and snacks. The hospice care center accommodates infant, children and adult patients.
Lower Cape Fear LifeCare has full-time doctors on staff and many of its clinical team members have earned their certifications in hospice and palliative care. The agency has been honored multiple times by Healthcare First as a Hospice Honors and Hospice Honors Elite provider.
