"30 minutes after Ingesting the Benzo – again, my Body and Mind goes into FULL SHOCK. Crippling Cramps, Massive Pain, Vomit, Headaches, Dry Mouth, Fight or Flight - The WORST Pain and Suffering of my 67 years of Life. Add Stress and PTSD, Insomnia, Suicidal Ideations into the MIX - I was Moaning, crying, Screaming into my Pillow, Vomiting, and spent the evening/day parked in my wheelchair in front of the Toilet and trying to walk/stumble down the corridor to get a drink. Nurse actually came in and told me she was closing my door to keep other Patients from hearing my screams. I demanded the phone to Call the Police for Being Held Against my will. Staff pleaded with me not to make the call cause - if the Police Come – the NeuroPsychiatric Hospital will Automatically slap me with a 72 HOUR Involuntary Detention under the Guise that I am a Danger to Myself or the Community. Instead, Staff Produced a Letter a Begged me to Sign it - a 24 hour Release Agreement. I wanted to speak with the Police about my Concerns for my safety and that staff threatened to keep me Another 3 Days if I refused to sign their Document. I signed the form that turned out to be a 41 hour hold. Dr. #. never addressed me on Fri/Saturday. Sat - once again my AM Meds were withheld. FOOD there was the Worst Ever! I could not eat most of it cause it was disgusting. Never ate a full meal – awful stuff. I would like to give an Angel Award to Nurse K - she is a Shinning Light in a World of Darkness and Pain at NPH Indy. This is just a Sample of the Nightmare at NPH. NPH changed DO NO HARM to DO NOTHING."
