TLC (formerly Tammy Lynn Center) was founded in 1969 by three families who wanted to improve the local options for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over the last five decades, TLC has grown in response to the needs of the community and serves children, adults, and families across the Triangle and surrounding areas with residential and health care services, autism treatment, therapy, early childhood intervention, respite care, community living, and education services.
