Caregiver Job Description

This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in various settings such as home care, assisted living facilities, and long-term care environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a key role in fostering a loving, supportive and nurturing environment for those you serve.
DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
*Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including changing, dressing, grooming, feeding and meal preparation.
*Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in social activities and conversation.
*Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to team and management, as well as healthcare professionals.
*Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety.
*Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing housekeeping tasks as needed.
*Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times.
*Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately and timely.
NIGHT SHIFTS NEEDED:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 4pm-8am, with the flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including day shifts.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is not required, but it is preferred.
*Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
*Excellent communication and strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in clients' physical, mental or emotional conditions.
*Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
*Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
*Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
