ABOUT US Senior Helpers San Luis Obispo County is the premier provider of in-home senior care. We provide tailored in-home care services to Seniors. SERVICE AREAS Serving clients across San Luis Obispo County including San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Los Osos, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Arroyo Grande, Oceano, Cambria, Templeton, Pismo Beach, Avilla Beach and Nipomo. HOME CARE AIDE DUTIES • Companion Care: Companionship, activities, hydration and nutrition reminders, light housekeeping, shopping and running errands, meal prep, laundry, med reminders, rides to errands and appointments. • Personal Care: (In addition to Companion care duties) Grooming, stand-by or assist with showering and toileting, fall prevention, Parkinson’s and dementia care, monitor vitals and report changes in care needs. COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS • Per Dept Social Services and State of CA HCA requirements, HCA (Caregivers) MUST be 100% fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to beginning work after Nov 30, 2021. Caregivers MUST comply with the latest SLO County and CDC Covid PPE Guidelines. We provide all PPE required to meet these requirements. • Employees must also wear KN-95 masks when with clients, at their home and/or outside. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Must have a working Smartphone. • Read, write, and speak English at an average adult level. • Valid driver license with no serious driving violations. • Access to reliable vehicle for transportation to/from work. • Pass a lifetime criminal background check prior to employment. • Register with the state of California as a Home Care Aide (PAID for by Senior Helpers).
