We are seeking a compassionate and flexible caregiver to join our team at Empaths Care in a per diem capacity. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Jobs vary all over the valley. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, and offering companionship to clients. Responsibilities: 1. Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. 2. Assist with mobility and transferring as needed, using proper techniques and equipment. (i.e. Wheelchair, Walker, etc.) 3. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required. 4. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces. 6. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities. 7. Monitor client's condition and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. 8. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during shifts. 9. Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members. 10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred. Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is considered an added bonus. 2. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. 5.
