Caregiver Job Description
Full / Part / Live-IN / Temp Positions - Specify which of the following when interviewing - 2nd and 3rd shift positions - Weekends - Summer - Live-In House Manager - (employee's primary residence is living with the people supported). Progress pays employee's portion of rent, utilities and provides vehicle allowance for Live-In position. Primary Duties: - Assist person(s) supported with all activities of daily living (shopping, meal prep, light cleaning, laundry, medication administration, transportation) - Assist person(s) supported with activities of their choice in their community. Help them achieve goals to become more integrated in their community - Assist person(s) served to achieve desired person centered outcomes - Help people supported become more independent - Complete daily electronic documentation of client's activities Requirements: - Must be able to complete approximately 40 hours of PAID pre-service training - Must not be listed on any registries reporting any form of fraud or abuse - Must be able to pass a criminal background check - Must have a valid DL, insurance and reliable vehicle - Must have a high school diploma
