Personal Care Assistant for Young Adult with Autism

Job Description: We are seeking a responsible, patient, and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support a 21-year-old individual with autism. The ideal candidate will provide assistance with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs), while fostering a calm, respectful, and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, and dressing Support daily routines and smooth transitions Provide emotional support and companionship Help maintain a safe and clean environment Follow specific care routines and instructions from the family Communicate effectively with the individual and their family/caregivers Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification (required) Must complete additional training(s) – information provided upon request Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred Must be comfortable with hands-on personal care assistance Must be patient, empathetic, and reliable Ability to speak and understand English Must be 18 years or older Must pass a background check If you're interested or would like more information, please reach out to discuss the position and training requirements further.
