To distribute and chart medications given as prescribed by the physician. Help to maintain a cheerful homelike atmosphere. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting residents, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts or moves residents or items weighing up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive stooping and lifting. Requires working under stressful conditions or working some irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and situations common to a nursing home environment.
