Caregiver Needed

We are in need of one or two additional Caregivers. We need qualified persons to work either a three or four day shift per week. Each shift is 24 hours. There is ample time for sleep during each 24 hour shift. We have up to five clients in each home. Duties include: • Cooking meals • Assistance with the tasks of daily living • Transfer Assistance • Household chores and cleaning • Provide medication reminders • Other duties as assigned • Incontinence care • Multitasking • Escort duties Requirements: • Must be able to pass a State of Alaska criminal background check • Must have current CPR/First Aid Certification • Must provide proof of a negative TB test • Must be able to provide 3 Personal and 2 Professional References • Speak English • Be courteous and gracious to residents, visitors, other staff, and visiting medical personnel • Non-smoker The starting salary includes calculation for anticipated over-time. For those with little or no experience, the salary starts at $240 per shift. For experienced caregivers, the salary can be $260 per shift all the way up to $300 per shift for those with a proven capability.
