Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Bridgeport Health Care Center is seeking an Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Bridgeport, WV location.
Bridgeport Health Care Center joined the AMFM Family on November 1, 2015 and is a 77 person care center specializing in skilled nursing, rehabilitation to home and long-term care services. Bridgeport Health Care Center received the 2017 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Living (AHCA/NCAL) Quality Award program.
Position Summary for CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant): Updated Wages
To provide direct patient care to patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report patient needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
Complete documentation accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
Assure patients are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment, and transportation.
Respect the dignity and privacy or individuals are all times.
Assist patients with activities of daily living.
Present a positive image and accept the need for changes, be flexible, and demonstrate the enthusiasm toward enhancement
Education/Requirements:
Must have completed an approved nursing assistant program and must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification.
Must possess and maintain current CPR certification, or acquire a CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
