Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Assist residents with activities of daily living including, but not limited to, grooming, showering, dressing, transferring, and eating.

3. Assist residents to and from meals, including meal set up and break down.
4.Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with staff and residents.
5. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
6.Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight;
7. Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
8. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
9. Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
10. Protects organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
