Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
We are a local senior care home looking to revolutionize the way we provide care in our communities. Through upskilling and methods of empowering through education, we are looking to add value to senior living through creating a new vision of what it means to be a caregiver. Our approach to caregiving differs from the large, institutional settings. We operate out of residential homes. We have a 3 to 1 resident to staff ratio. We promote a holistic approach with an emphasis on social and quality of life as opposed to a purely clinical approach. We work to integrate technology into our services to allow for our team to focus more on care and less on administrative or tedious tasks. Furthermore, we promote education and purposeful training, that we hope benefit you beyond our job responsibilities. Logistics: Our shifts are 10-12 hours. We aim for a 35 hour work week. Anything over 40 hours is overtime. Our entry level position start at $14.50 with more experienced caregivers being compensated up to $18 hourly. We provided quarter reviews and compensation increases and there are opportunities to receive bonuses. Also we are building out a path for caregivers to become managers and operating partners. The basic job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist with daily living activities, including moving, transferring, eating, moving, bathing, toileting, dressing - Administration of medications - Reporting and observing residents - Interacting with health care professionals - Providing incontinence support - Cook and meals - Companionship-game night, crafts, gardening, making pizza, We hope to hear from you!
