Private Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have 6 + years of experience in home care or long-term care settings, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This role requires a blend of practical skills and emotional support, ensuring that clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected in their homes or community settings. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of clients. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Provide patient observation to ensure safety and well-being. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being. Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required. Administer first aid when necessary and respond effectively to emergencies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Skills Experience in meal preparation for individuals with specific dietary requirements. Background in nursing home or long-term care environments is preferred. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status. Proficient in measuring vital signs accurately. Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response procedures. Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in home care settings. Familiarity with home community care services and resources available for clients.
