Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience CNA, STNA license Required Ability to lift over 100 pounds on a regular basis and physically able to help clients who require physical assistance. Read, write, speak and understand the English language May require experience with caring for clients with memory impairment. Responsibilities of CNAs, Caregivers, Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants include: Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, laundry, and other activities of daily living. Follow the schedule of clients' needs set out by the supervisor. Provide emotional and social support to clients. May require meal preparation for clients. CPR certifications are highly suggested. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward clients, and their families.
