Responsibilities: Assists with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, hygiene, ambulating, toileting, and transferring as indicated on the residents' service plans. Ensures that resident rights and requests are always honored. Share in the responsibility for providing and maintaining an environment that is conducive to the safety, physical, and emotional well-being of the residents and staff. Support and get to know your designated group of residents during the shift. Maintain a clean and healthy environment for the residents. Qualifications: Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties for the residents, and the ability to work as a team member. Must have (Certified Nursing Assistant certification for Connecticut) Must be at least 18 years and have good written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding. Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Must possess a sincere affection and interest in the senior population.
