Certified and Experienced Nursing Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY The Nurse Aide will provide personal care services and assistance with activities of daily living to home support care clients in a manner that meets or exceeds state, federal, and agency expectations, under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse Supervisor to ensure quality and safe delivery of in-home aide services. The Nurse Aide will provide services to other patients in different health care settings as needed, according to the policy and procedure of Ultimate Dream Care Services Inc. and in accordance with the client’s plan of care. QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY 1. Maintain current listing as a Nurse Aide, with no history of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident’s property. 2. Be able to read, write, and follow the instructions. 3. Must have completed an approved Nurse Aide 1 training program and/or approved competency evaluation program. 4. A positive attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly. 5. Demonstration of maturity and proficiency in performing the necessary job duties. 6. Must possess a valid Driver’s License, personal means of transportation, and a safe driving record. EXPERIENCE: A Nurse Aide with a good work history in related fields preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication. - Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing. - Ability to deal with stress.
