Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an C.N.A. in this state Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment. Must possess the ability to assess and report resident status accurately and in a timely manner. Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel and the general public. Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with others. Must be self motivated and demonstrate the ability to motivate others. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as a willingness to handle difficult situations Must be able to relate information concerning the resident’s condition. Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals. Must demonstrate computer aptitude. Must possess the ability to remain calm under pressure.
