Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant serving patients in their homes.
We serve our patients wherever they call home, including assisted living, nursing home, or their personal residence.
Performs and/or assists the patient with personal care activities as prescribed on the Hospice Aide plan of care.
Performs and/or assists the patient/family with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Reports patient status changes to the interdisciplinary team as needed.
Maintains current and accurate documentation.
Complies with policies and procedures of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
Protects the confidentiality of private health care information of patients.
Represents the services and philosophy of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
Philosophy compatible with the hospice concept.
Position Qualifications:
High school graduate is preferred.
Proof of nursing assistant certification.
Minimum of 1-year experience, preferred
Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
