Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Caregivers provide assistance to individuals who are sick, injured, disabled or fragile, including the elderly. Duties include providing emotional support to patients, helping patients schedule and keep doctor appointments, arranging transportations and administering medication and personal hygiene. As companionship is often an essential part of the job, a good caregiver is compassionate, patient and understanding.
