Job Description Immediate Need Monday- Wednesday 8am-2pm Thursday- Saturday 8am-4pm Job Summary Our home care agency is rapidly expanding and we are hiring a CNA/PCA effective immediately. We work with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. Most of our patients are elderly and/or terminally ill, so we hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field. Responsibilities and Duties: This is a special case; the client is able to do most functions on his own We are looking for a team member that will assist the client and not do all functions themselves We are looking for an energic individual to engage with the client Fun walks in the park Play games Listen to music Run errands together This is truly a companionship Assist clients with daily living activities Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment Typical duties for a PCA, CNA or Personal Care Aide with Home Nurse include : Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Errands Nutrition and Exercise Grocery Shopping Transportation Laundry providing companionship, socialization and emotional support for our clients in their homes. Qualifications and Skills Qualifications: 12+ months experience working in a health care facility or home care is preferred Must be able to pass a criminal history check and a drug screening Sex Offenders Registry Background Clearance Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of procedures performed by a Certified Nursing Assistant Required Credentials: CNA certification in the State of Georgia CPR Certification First Aid Certification TB/PPD Valid Drivers License Valid Auto Insurance Dependable transportation to/from and for use at work Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $11.00 to $13.00 /hour Qualification Questions You have requested that Indeed ask candidates the following questions: Do you have the following license or certification: CNA/PCA?'
