NOW HIRING CNA/PCA for Clayton, Henry, Rockdale, DeKalb, and Fayette Counties!!!! Shelter At Home is an in-home, non-medical provider serving the Metro Atlanta area. We currently have positions available for long term/short term assignments with flexible scheduled time off. We are looking for compassionate, dependable, professional Caregivers looking to further their careers and grow with our agency. Responsibilities and Duties • Work with a registered nurse and other clinicians to provide care based on an individualized plan of care. • Record daily tasks completed and health status • Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. • Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. • Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices. • Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping. • Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes. • Assist with transportation needs and escort to doctors and social events. Qualifications and Skills • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) • Passing score on Personal Care Assistant Competency Tests if not licensed • Must past background check • CPR certification • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds • Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays • Reliable transportation • Valid driver’s license and insurance • Prior home care experience preferred, but will train the right person • Position requires constant bending, stooping, crouching and physical movement Salary and Benefits • Starting at $13 per hour unlicensed; CNA $15 starting pay • Flexible schedule • Referral program • Continuing education • Incentive programs
