Apple Tree Assisted Living in Kaysville is hiring for CNA's/Caregivers PART TIME, and WEEKEND shifts available! Days 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 6:00AM-10AM Swings 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 4PM-8PM Grave 10:00 PM-6:00 AM We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individuals to be a vital link between our residents and the nursing staff. Our CNA's and Caregiver's interact directly with patients, providing comfort, dispensing medications under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. The entire staff is an active part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. Full time employee benefits: medical and dental insurance, vacation pay, sick leave are available. (Qualifications pending) Responsibilities: Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements. Assist the nurses and other staff as needed. Administer medications under RN supervision. Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart. Assist with daily living activities. Help patients with personal hygiene. Qualifications: Basic computer skills. Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively. Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner"). Able to pass a background check. Drug screen before hire. Covid Vaccination-Must have 1st dose before starting Complete a TB test upon hiring if they have not had one in last 6 months. Acquire food handlers permit within two weeks of hire.
