Apple Village Assisted Living in Layton is Hiring CNA's and Caregivers!

Apple Village Assisted Living is hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time CNA's/Caregivers to provide care to our residents. The caregiving staff is an active part of our compassionate care team. The CNA/Caregivers interact directly with residents by providing comfort, dispensing medications under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and an energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents, the nurse and other facility staff. We are looking for a FULL TIME, PART TIME, and WEEKEND Caregivers or CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) for DAY, SWING and GRAVE shifts. Hours: Day Shift: 6am-2pm Swing Shift: 2pm-10pm Grave Shift: 10pm-6am Responsibilities Include: Adherence to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements. Assist the nurse and other staff as needed. Administer medications under the RN supervision. Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart. Assist with daily living activities. Help patients with personal hygiene. Qualifications: Covid Vaccination- Must have 1st dose of vaccine before starting Basic computer skills Able to pass a background check Drug screen before hire Complete a TB test upon hiring if you have not had one in the last 6 months Aquire a Food Handlers permit withen two weeks of hire Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner") Additional Information: Apple Village Assisted Living is located in Layton, Utah off of Highway 1-93 and 89.
