CNA/HCA/NAR-G

We are looking for a Caregiver to care for our residents in a comfortable setting of a home. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help our residents. Our home is very easy going and mellow. Shift begins on Wednesday 3pm and ends on Friday 3pm. You will be able to sleep at night. Caregiver may need to wake up and assist if residents need assistance at night. We do not have heavy care. Majority of our residents are independent or 1 person assist. Responsibilities: Medication administered Socialize with residents and exercises Assist residents with personal care and hygiene Housekeeping/laundry Assist in showers/stand by assist Plan and prepare meals Charting and documentation Be a pleasant and supportive to residents Report any incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Certification in either CNA/HCA/NAR-G (grandfather letter) CPR/First Aid Nurse Delegation certifications Food handlers card TB test/2 step Must be able to pass background check/fingerprint Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints. Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics and Physical endurance High school diploma or equivalent COVID-19 considerations: We are following and responding to COVID-19 precautions.
