Schedules: 6a-2P & 2P- 10P Varied Days, rotating weekends *$1,000 sign-on bonus: $500 after 30 days and $500 after 6 months.* Why Sun Health? A full job description is available during the interview process. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this position provides direct patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens. May transfer or transport patients. This position is a safety sensitive position. CNA Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: When coming on duty, check assignment, schedule, note any special events scheduled for that day and extra duties specific to the shift and section you are working. Do vital signs as indicated and when requested. Chart required information. Use proper infection control protocols in all care of residents to prevent spread of disease and infection. Observe residents’ physical condition, emotions, reactions to events, eating and report all changes to the Charge Nurse. · Demonstrate the Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provides all customers/audience with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health behaviors (the 6 Cs) each and every day. · Other duties as assigned to the CNA by the Charge Nurse. Day Shift: - Assist each resident in grooming (including oral care), toileting and dressing for the day. - Respond to call lights in a timely manner and provide assistance as requested/needed for each resident. P.M. Shift: - Respond to call lights in a timely manner and provide assistance as requested/needed for each resident. · Assist into bed, make sure the call light is within reach and give fresh water. Make hourly rounds on all residents after they are in bed. Night Shift: - Respond to call lights in a timely manner and provide assistance as requested/needed for each resident.'
