Live-In Caregiver Wanted

Job Description: King David Care Homes is a nurse-owned Adult Family Home providing compassionate, personalized care for six geriatric residents. We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to join our team in a supportive, loving, and peaceful environment. As a caregiver, you will: • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. • Prepare and serve meals and help with feeding as needed. • Monitor residents’ health and well-being, report changes to the nurse/management. • Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home, including laundry, dishes, and light housekeeping. • Participate as a team player with coworkers to ensure smooth daily operations. • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being and quality of life. Job Requirements: • Previous experience caring for elderly residents preferred. • Ability to work full-time, including flexible shifts as needed. • Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality. • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions. • Good communication skills with residents, families, and coworkers. • Basic knowledge of safety, hygiene, and infection control in elder care. • Ability to lift, assist, or support residents safely as needed. • Certification (CNA/HHA) is a plus but not required if willing to train.
