Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable CNA or HHA to provide quality in-home care for an adult with disabilities. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and dedicated to supporting clients with dignity and respect in a safe and comfortable environment.
Duties:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Follow and implement the client’s care plan
Assist with meal preparation and feeding (if needed)
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, etc.)
Monitor and report any changes in condition or behavior
Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
Communicate effectively with family and care team
Requirements:
MUST be a CNA or HHA
Experience with adults with disabilities or special needs preferred
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and adapt to client needs
Reliable transportation
Level 2 Background Check
Authorized to work in the U.S.
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
TB test (PPD or chest X-ray)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with behavioral or developmental disabilities
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule:
Morning shifts preferred
Weekdays (Monday–Friday)
Full-time / Part-time opportunities available (based on case needs)
Compensation & Benefits:
$17 – $19 per hour (based on experience)
