Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Your job is to provide meal service and assisted living services to the residents of Heritage House. You are responsible to provide housekeeping services for the common areas of Heritage House. You are responsible to provide weekly activities for residents. You are responsible to perform cleaning services for apartments when vacated. As this is a Christian facility you are expected to uphold the mission and philosophy of LHGS in the performance of your duties.
Maintains a relationship with the residents, their families, etc. Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, etc. Communicates with nursing personnel, and other department staffs. Is subject to injury from falls, equipment, odors, disinfectants, etc. throughout the shift. Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc. May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals. Will be required to work rotation weekends and holidays to meet the needs of residents and facility.
