Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to provide routine daily nursing care and services to our residents, in accordance, with the resident's assessment and care plan, and any other duties that may be directed by the supervisor. Specific Requirements: -Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in this state. Provide the facility a copy of such license at the time of hire and whenever it is updated. -Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served. -Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. -Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies or personnel, and the general public. -Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices. -Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
