Caregiver Job Description
Minimum Education/ Experience: Minimum ECE Credentials I & II, 6 months of childcare experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. Hours/Days of Work: Mon.-Fri. 9:30am -6:00pm -Full-Time Non-Exempt - 40 hours per week Pay Rate: Pay based on education and experience. Excellent benefits include: $500 Joining Bonus paid on the first payroll medical, dental, vision PTO and paid holidays, Life, STD/LTD, and 403b retirement plan Brief Description of Work Performed: The Teacher Assistant will be responsible for assisting in creating and maintaining a child-centered educational environment in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the program by assisting in all classroom activities as assigned by classroom staff. Be familiar with and carry out the standards set forth by the Division of Child Development, Department of Sanitation, the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS).
