Caregivers needed in Metro Atlanta

We are based in the Tucker/Stone Mountain area and we service Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, DeKalb, Henry, Clayton, Forsyth, Douglas, Walton and Barrow counties. Our agency is contracted with the VA and with an organization that provides backup care. We need to hire additional employees to meet the demand for cases. We provide care assistance for recipients of all ages. For backup care cases, we often receive same day/next day care requests and it is important that we are able to be very responsive. We also receive requests that are not same/next day. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in private residences. Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping tasks. Monitor patients' health and report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical personnel. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and emotional well-being, particularly those requiring memory care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients. Skills & Requirements Experience in memory care or working with individuals requiring specialized support is preferred, but not required. Strong patient monitoring skills with the ability to observe changes in health status effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the caregiving environment. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life through direct support and care. CNA, CMAs, or PCAs only please.
